I recently created a short video of me playing a segment of a slightly different version of 'Heatwave' from my old album The Magician (1991). I originally wrote ‘Heatwave’ and recorded it as a full demo back in 1989, I later recorded it for The Magician. This video was created for  @shredmusictv  and is also available on their YouTube/Instagram/Facebook pages.

For those interested, I'm playing straight into the desk and using Line 6 Helix Native with a preset I programmed for my Helix Floor. The guitar is one of my Fender custom telecasters with stock Seymour Duncan pickups: '59 in the neck and Pearly Gates in the bridge. Both pickups are two of my all time favorites, I've had the '59 in the neck position in many guitars over the years. Strings are Dean Markley Signature 10 - 46. I recorded the backing track specifically for this video at the original '89 demo version bpm of 104. I hope you enjoy it, please subscribe to my YouTube channel for new upcoming videos. Hello there!

My new album ‘Shadows & Light’ was released yesterday, it's available on all major streaming platforms as well as through my website here. It's a very personal album with ten tracks that tell ten stories in music form. I recommend listening to the entire album in sequential track order in the evening/night with a good pair of headphones. Finally… The new album Shadows & Light is being released on May 20th 2025. There are sound clips of the tracks here on my website, YouTube channel, Instagram and X pages. I think the music on this album is my best work to date and also features the incredible talents of Tim Luce (bass guitar) and Mark Mendez (drums & percussion). It's taken a long time to finish the album as sometimes life gets in the way of music and our plans. The tracks on this album reflect much of the past years, and I think they tell the stories well, from the melancholic to euphoric. This album has been recorded on and off over the past 18 years, and in three different states; first Nevada, then California and Florida. Interestingly enough, it was completed back here in Nevada again, it's funny how life sometimes moves in circles. I sincerely hope you enjoy this album, it's best heard in its entirety in the listed track order as this completes the story the album tells. It will be available in digital format from all the major online vendors such as Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, etc., and in digital and physical CD format here on my website. The digital format version from my website will also include an exclusive bonus track.
