Mario Parga

Thank you to those of you who listened to, liked and commented on the 'Mojave Mojo' video Shred Music TV published on their social media channels a couple of days ago, and of course a big thank you to Fabrizio and Shred Music TV for promoting my music. I've posted the longer version of the video here on my website.

I've had a few messages regarding this video and the upcoming album Before The Storm, it seems to have caused some confusion, so I'd just like to clarify that this album is still in its early stages of development and won't be released until next year. My current album is still Shadows & Light and is available on all major streaming platforms. When Shred Music TV asked me for a new video a few days ago (and because I was working on 'Mojave Mojo' at the time), I thought it would be cool to do a short video of some new material, hence this video. The backing track is just all me at the moment, eventually all the new songs will feature Mark Mendez on drums and Tim Luce on bass, the same amazing musicians who played on the Shadows & Light album.

Thank you for listening to my music! ☺️❤️🎸🤘

New single available on Friday June 5th on all major streaming sites and through the store here. ‘Brigid’s Dance' is an ambient, moody acoustic guitar track that features my daughter Skye singing the vocal melodies. Hope you like it! :-)

I recently created a short video of me playing a segment of a slightly different version of 'Heatwave' from my old album The Magician (1991). I originally wrote ‘Heatwave’ and recorded it as a full demo back in 1989, I later recorded it for The Magician. This video was created for  @shredmusictv  and is also available on their YouTube/Instagram/Facebook pages.

I recorded the backing track specifically for this video at the original '89 demo version bpm of 104. I hope you enjoy it, please subscribe to my YouTube channel for new upcoming videos. Thank you :-)

Hello there!

My new album ‘Shadows & Light’ was released yesterday, it's available on all major streaming platforms as well as through my website here. It's a very personal album with ten tracks that tell ten stories in music form. I recommend listening to the entire album in sequential track order in the evening/night with a good pair of headphones. I sincerely hope you all like the album, please let me know what your favorite tracks are.

Thank you,

Mario

Finally… The new album Shadows & Light is being released on May 20th 2025. There are sound clips of the tracks here on my website, YouTube channel, Instagram and X pages. I think the music on this album is my best work to date and also features the incredible talents of Tim Luce (bass guitar) and Mark Mendez (drums & percussion). It's taken a long time to finish the album as sometimes life gets in the way of music and our plans. The tracks on this album reflect much of the past years, and I think they tell the stories well, from the melancholic to euphoric. This album has been recorded on and off over the past 18 years, and in three different states; first Nevada, then California and Florida. Interestingly enough, it was completed back here in Nevada again, it's funny how life sometimes moves in circles. I sincerely hope you enjoy this album, it's best heard in its entirety in the listed track order as this completes the story the album tells. It will be available in digital format from all the major online vendors such as Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, etc., and in digital and physical CD format here on my website. The digital format version from my website will also include an exclusive bonus track.

Thank you, as always, for your interest in my music,

Mario
